The thermometer on Tuesday eased a little higher being the warmest day this month with a maximum of 21.4C but this was still 1.3C below the average.
It was another dry but mainly cloudy day with the UV classified as High.
The overnight minimum of 9.2C was 2.7C below average but several degrees warmer than the previous nights.
Wednesday arrived with total cloud cover and a very light breeze from the north-northwest.
The barometric pressure continues to build as the ridge from the large anticyclone mid-Atlantic eases towards the UK. The pressure at 08.00 was 1028.8mb, the highest for two months.
