Hotter again!

Tuesday saw the thermometer soar to 29.2C that was 10.5C above the 37-year average. It broke the record for September (originally set in 2004 at 27.5C) that was broken on Monday (28.9C).

After a calm day on Monday, Tuesday brought a gentle breeze from the south and southeast.

The thermometer did not drop below 14.2C overnight being 5.1C above average.

Wednesday brought sunshine after sunrise, hazy at first, but there is more light cloud around after the totally blue sky in Tuesday. The temperature at 08.00 was 16.0C making it the warmest start to a day at that time since 27th July.
