Another mild day and night

Every day in February has seen the maximum temperature rise above the average and Sunday was no exception with a peak of 10.3C being 2.5C above the 38-year average. It was another dry day, only the eight this month.

Cloud built up late afternoon and overnight that meant no frost occurred with a minimum of 4.9C just after 23.00 when the temperature began to recover.

Monday brought a cloudy start to the day as another weather front edged in from the southwest. The breeze is very light and has migrated from the southeast of recent days to south. The barometric pressure continues to be high with a reading at 08.00 of 1023.4mb.
