Another fine day on Friday

The sun continued to shine on Friday, a little less then on Thursday with 9.3 hours and the maximum a little lower at 21.1C but still 7.1C above the 36-year average.

The north easterly was just a breeze with the strongest gust it could muster registering just 11mph.

Friday was another dry day. We have now enjoyed 20 days without rainfall in April and the total remains at 38.4mm whilst the equivalent rainfall lost through evaporation has increased to 73mm.

Saturday started with weak sunshine due to thin high cloud although by 08.00 the sun had lifted the temperature from a minimum of 6.8C to 8.6C
