Another depression looms on the horizon

Friday was a warm day with the thermometer rising above average (+0.5) with a maximum of 23.2C.

A very light shower passed this way overnight with just 0.1mm of rainfall logged. Due to thick cloud cover it was a very mild night with the thermometer not falling below 14.8C, which was 3C above the 37-year average.

Saturday brought thick cloud at dawn with very light or totally calm conditions.

The barometric pressure has been falling for the past 36 hours as a depression approach from the Atlantic. Current pressure at 08.00 was 1012.1mb so more changeable weather is upon us.
