The minimum of 11.0C was just below average for early July.
Saturday arrived with blue sky and strong sunshine from dawn but by 08.00 small areas of light cloud were being wafted across on the light northeasterly breeze.
The temperature had risen quickly from dawn registering 19.7C at 08.00 and barometric pressure of 1031.9mb, down slightly on this time on Friday.
