Windrush Weather

Warmest September day since 2013

The warm, moist southerly air stream and a little strong sunshine yesterday (0.46 hours) pushed the thermometer to a maximum of 24.1C. This is 6C above the 32-year average and the warmest day since 5th September 2013. Earlier in the month the humidity during the day time was dropping to 50 or 60% but the last couple of days it has been in the mid eighties. Again, the cloud overnight and warm air meant that it was another mild night with a minimum of  15.9C, which is 7C above the longterm average.
