Yesterday the thermometer peaked at 22.3C and the UV reached the ‘Very High’ category for the third time this month. The warmer days and nights (minimum 10.8C) have meant that the soil temperature at a depth of 5cm was reading 16.9C at 0800, the highest value since July 2014.
