Tuesday was mild, wet and windy

With the mild southerly air still affecting our weather it was not surprising that the maximum temperature yesterday was 16.1C, above average and the warmest day since 9th October. The afternoon and evening also brought several hours of rainfall amounting to 3.9mm, bringing the total for October to 54.1mm, which is 61% of the 31-year average.
