After the considerable rainfall over the last four days, the total for yesterday was 2.3mm. This brings the total for August to 74mm (113%). The sun made a reappearance during the afternoon with 3.5 hours of strong sunshine, which lifted the temperature to a maximum of 19.7C (1C below the mean).
