Windrush Weather

First dry day for a fortnight

After so many wet days it was good to have a dry day yesterday although the large amounts of cloud reduced the sunshine again to 1.5 hours. Interestingly, the wind picked up just before midnight with the strongest gust of the day of 19mph at 23.07 and this windy period lasted until after 3am this morning.
There followed another cool night with a minimum of 2.2C, not as cold as the previous night, just above the average for March. This morning has dawned with high cloud and the sun struggling to provide a bright start to the day.
