Windrush Weather

Dry north-easterly winds persist

Although the wettest day this month brought 27mm of rainfall, the persistent dry winds from the north east have given us eleven dry days with evaporation totalling 20mm. Again yesterday, the thick cloud cover depressed the maximum to 7.4C (mean 10.4C), brought us no sunshine, but with a minimum of 4.1C (mean 1.9C) no frost occurred.
