Yesterday produced the coolest day this month with a maximum of 16.5C, almost 5C below the long-term average. The rainfall was 9.6mm bringing the total this month to 25mm (average is 65.7mm). The continuous rain all morning and thick cloud, which lasted for most of the day, meant that there was no strong sunshine for the second day running.
