Windrush Weather

Coldest night this month giving ground frost

More of the same yesterday with sunshine and sharp showers. There were just 2.3 hours of strong sunshine on Sunday, half the number of hours that were recorded on Saturday. There were a few brief, very sharp showers amounting to 5.1mm. The showers and increased cloud amounts kept the temperature down to a maximum of 9.7C but clearer skies overnight meant that the thermometer dropped to 0.9C just before 7.30 this morning giving a slight and temporary ground frost.
