Yesterday brought a day with 7.28 hours of strong sunshine that with light winds, maximum gust of 14mph, gave a very pleasant day. The maximum temperature just after 5pm was 21.9C, just below the average for early July and UV was into the very high category again. With a clear sky overnight, allowing warmth from the ground to radiate into space, the thermometer dropped to a minimum of 6.2C at 05.11 but sunshine after dawn pushed the temperature to 15.6C at 08.00.
