Yesterday was a bright day with a little strong sunshine, but notable was the UV level rated very high, the highest this year but not unexpected the day before the summer solstice. After two weeks with calm conditions strong gusts to 26mph were recorded after midnight in the showers. The rainfall for the past twenty-four hours amounted to 6.6mm bringing the total for June to 26.1mm that is 47% of the June mean.
