After eleven days with a succession of depressions passing over or around the UK it is good to see the barometric pressure rising steadily over the last two days, the highest since 1st January. This has brought a clearing sky overnight and a light ground frost (minimum of 0.6C) with the wind dropping out after a peak of 28mph around 8pm last night. There have now been twenty-four continuous days with rainfall and another 3.4mm yesterday afternoon.
