Yesterday the fog was quite dense at times with minimum visibility of 150m and persisted most of the day except for a lifting around 1.30pm for a brief time before returning mid-afternoon. Strong sunshine of 0.13 hours gave a brief respite from the gloom. The mild, moist air has meant both maxima and minima above average with 14.4C on sunday and 11.4C yesterday.
