The UV level again fell into the High category.

Phew! 20.0C maximum exactly
The south-easterly winds continued to bring warm air yesterday that resulted in a maximum of exactly 20.0C. The 12 hours of strong sunshine was less than the previous day due to thin high cloud in the afternoon. The sky remained clear for the first part of the night when the thermometer dropped to 4.7c just after 2am but cloud cover meant that this rose to 9.7C at 08.00 with thin cloud reducing the strength of the sun.
