The pressure has been rising for two days as the low pressure system looses its effect. Yesterday brought several light showers totalling 1.9mm but the storms continue to bypass Marlborough, thankfully. There were 1.46 hours of strong sunshine that boosted the temperature to 19.4C, average for June, but overnight the thermometer dropped to 10.6C, the coolest night for ten days. The total rainfall for June now stands at 19.5mm, which is 35% of the June average.
