The barometric pressure has been rising, almost continuously, since the end of January and is at its highest since the end of December at 1040.4mb this morning.
Friday the sixth brought us 6.6 hours of sunshine and the highest value for solar energy since 28th October.
January brought a total rainfall close the average but due to the consistently high pressure we have had only 1mm of precipitation this month with 4mm evaporating to the atmosphere.
