Sunday was the tenth successive day with above average temperature

Sunday brought us 6.67 hours of sunshine with the thermometer rising to a maximum of 12.7C being 2.6C above the 34-year November average.

There was a brief shower early this morning with just 0.4mm of rainfall added to the total, now 45.4mm when the average is 91.4mm.

Monday arrived with a large bank of cloud slowly easing away to the east with sunshine breaking through just after 8am following another mild night when the thermometer did not drop below 8.4C, which was 4.8C above average and the ninth successive above average night.

Update on Monday at 14.40: warmer day again with maximum of 13.7C being 3.6C above average and warmest day for almost a week.
