Settled weather continues

Once again on Wednesday there was very little movement of air with a maximum movement of 10mph and often calm for long periods overnight.

The thermometer by day rose to 11.1c being 1C above average and dropped to 5.4C at 00.20 on Thursday morning, again above average (+1.6C). We have now enjoyed twelve consecutive days with above average maxima.

It was another dry day. The evaporation from ground sources and plant life is now the equivalent of 8.2mm of rainfall whilst the rainfall for November is only 8.9mm.

Thursday also began with total cloud cover and what wind movement there is is from the west. The barometric pressure is currently at its highest all month with a reading at 08.00 of 10.30.0mb
