Even hotter!

Monday saw the thermometer rose to 24.8C being 4.6C above the average. The UV level again rose to Very High.

It was another dry day with the loss of equivalent rainfall due to evaporation exceeding 4mm daily. So far this month 67mm of equivalent rainfall has been lost through evaporation due to high temperatures and brisk winds.

The past night was cool seeing the thermometer drop to 8.2C being 1.9C belwo the 38-year average.

Tuesday brought us strong sunshine after dawn that lifted the temperature at 08.00 to 18.0C, the second highest this month. At that time there was no wind movement, totally calm, but it is forecast to come later in the morning from between north-northeast and east-southeast and light.
