Monday brought sunshine and showers late evening (22.25) and overnight (04.15) that produced 4.4mm of rainfall and brought the monthly total to 50.2mm, still 10mm short of the 38-year average.
The temperature rose to 18.2C (+0.7C) and dropped to 8.8C (+2.4C) overnight.
The equivalent loss of rainfall due to evaporation from ground sources and plant life now totals 60mm with over 4mm lost on Sunday in the many hours of warm sunshine.
Tuesday brought limited sunshine to start the day after a cloudy beginning.
