First day of Meteorological Autumn!

Wednesday was very similar tooth previous three days, dry, warm worth sunshine. The temperature edged upwards a little peaking at 23.3C being 2.2C above the average.

The wind persisted from the northeast all day and was very brisk with a peak gust of 24mph making it the windiest day of the month.

Due to overnight cloud the temperature did not drop below 13.4C, which was 1.7C above the average.

Thursday dawned dull with total cloud cover and the wind continuing from the northeast.
